VideoAsk records videos in full HD (1920 x 1080) by default, which ensures clear and crisp visuals for online use. The platform also emphasizes recording in a space with good natural light to enhance quality.

On sound quality, VideoAsk leverages a user’s device microphone for audio recording. The good thing is that VideoAsk recommends using external mics when recording in noisy spaces.

In the overall presentation, VideoAsk delivers a professional presentation of the recorded videos. The software allows customizing aspects like adding a background or prompts for the respondent.

For editing and customization, users looking to use external tools can use Wistia, Descript, or the VideoLeap mobile editor. VideoAsk integrates with this software, allowing seamless export with a few clicks.

Ease of Capture and Uploading

Recording video testimonials on VideoAsk is simple. The platform supports the use of webcams or smartphones. However, there is a caveat.

Users have a maximum of five minutes when recording a reply or VideoAsk step. However, if a user plans to upload a video recorded externally, it has no length limit.
