Have you been spending countless hours scheduling sales meetings and appointments? Are you exhausted from the frustration of missed calendar appointments or double-booking mishaps?
If so, you’re not alone. That’s where Chili Piper steps in. This innovation software is designed with one clear goal: to streamline your scheduling and meeting processes for your sales teams.
It boasts a suite of features aimed at making your life easier, from smart booking links to automated reminders and much more.
But what exactly does Chili Piper bring to the table, and how can it transform your sales operations?
Read on as our Chili Piper review delves into the benefits of using this platform in greater detail to help determine if this tool could answer your scheduling woes.
SMB Guide’s Verdict for Chili Piper
Chili Piper is a potent scheduling and lead routing solution that primarily focuses on helping Revenue teams book meetings faster and save time.
It offers one-click scheduling and routing of meetings over email, round-robin based on CRM or custom rules, no-show and cancellation management, and group booking links.
The platform also provides a personal scheduling app that can be accessed from anywhere, allowing users to book meetings on their own calendar or a teammate’s.
Compared to other scheduling solutions, Chili Piper stands out for its robust meeting life cycle automation platform, which changes how meetings are scheduled from the first touch to close and beyond.
I had a really hard time giving a score to this platform, though, because I couldn’t personally demo it. For the right customer, it is a stellar tool, so I settled on a 9 out of 10.
I’d be willing to nudge the score higher if it worked with other CRM tools, but limiting to just HubSpot and Salesforce really does impact the number of potential customers.
There’s a very specific customer that benefits from this platform – and it’s not small businesses.
In this review of Chili Piper, I’ve followed SMB Guide’s detailed criteria for evaluating the appointment scheduling software.

Appointment Workflow Automation
Without being able to demo the software with someone or sign up for a free trial of my own, I had no choice but to rely on material from other sources to evaluate this.
It seems users believe the platform is easy to set up and automate. It will take some time up front to set up the workflows, but once it’s done, it’s generally a set and forget type of thing.
Customization Options
Your customization options appear to depend on the plan you use. According to company materials, you can use CSS to customize the look and feel of your booking links, so that everything matches your branding.
Only users with Admin privileges can do this, but you can use the Quick CSS Generator in the Chili Help section to generate a quick CSS code to add to the:
- Calendar Screen
- Form Screen
- Confirmation Screen
- Multiple Meeting Type Screen
- Concierge: Phone and VIdeo Selection
Calendar Management Features
Chili Piper works with both Google and Office 365 calendars. Because you can see multiple team members’ calendars, you can use Chili Piper to automatically coordinate calendars and manage rep availability to ensure your prospects get routed to someone who is available quickly.
Chrome users can also install the Instant Booker extension to book meetings in one click from Gmail, Google Calendar, Office 365, Outlook, and other platforms.
With email scheduling features, you can easily manage your calendar and meetings from within your emails with leads.
Automated Reminders and Notifications
Based on information I found in the Chili Piper Help Center, it’s fairly simple to set up reminders to help decrease no shows.
From within your dashboard, navigate to Reminders then set up the ones you want.
You can use a pre-existing template or create your own from scratch. These templates include email and SMS reminder options.
You can choose to send emails, SMS, or both.
Client Management and Communication
Because Chili Piper is meant to integrate with a CRM where you manage your client data, you’ll get more from the tool if you connect it to your chosen CRM – either HubSpot or Salesforce.
You’ll be able to schedule meetings from within your email client, send reminders via email or text message.
Chili Piper can sync with your CRM to keep track of events, but you’ll handle most of your client management and communication from within your CRM, not Chili Piper.
User Interface and User Experience
Since I wasn’t able to demo the software on my own, I can’t speak to how well the user interface works and how easy the user experience is.
But, in my research and reading through countless user reviews and testimonials, the consensus seems to be that the platform is easy to understand and navigate.
Considering you have to book a demo with someone on the sales team before you can sign up for the software, this bodes well for the overall user experience.
You get a chance to speak with someone who knows the platform well and can answer any questions you may have before you commit.
Integrations, Compatibility, and Supported Platforms
Chili Piper integrates with over 100 tools natively, and if something’s missing, you can sign up for Zapier to build custom connections with more than 1,000 other options.
Chili Piper prides itself as the only appointment scheduling app that “reads and writes from Salesforce.”
It integrates with: HubSpot, Reachdesk, Sendoso, Postal, Snappy, Chameleon, Outreach, Salesloft, Slack, Teams, G2, Clickfunnels, and more.
There’s also API access. Because it’s a cloud-based platform, you can access it from any device that has an internet connection.
Customer Support
Chili Piper customer support seems to be fairly responsive. There’s an extensive knowledge base, known as Chili Hub, where you can find company announcements, help with setting up and using the platform, help or admins with product setup, integrations and team management, and troubleshooting.
There’s a community of users, as well as a bot to help guide you to the answers you need. There’s also a blog, called Resource Hub, with helpful information about the software and the company.
There does not appear to be a customer service phone number, but you could always email support or the sales rep that you speak to at sign up.
Chili Piper — Unique Features
Chili Piper’s unique feature is its ability to instantly turn inbound leads into qualified meetings with the Concierge Live feature available on the Form Concierge plan.
Customer service reps can connect with qualified leads in real-time via video chat.

One of the first tools we bought building out eqtble’s sales team. We didn’t have time to chase prospects down, so now scheduling is completely automated and our conversion has increased because of the easy user experience
Nate B., Head of Sales – Verified Capterra review
Our experience with Chili Piper has been great, and has moved us completely out of spreadsheets and onto the computer for distributing meetings. We never have to worry about a spreadsheet being outdated or incorrect, our SDRs just assign meetings to the AE that shows up next in Chili Piper. Since we’ve been a customer, we’ve seen new features launched, and I always appreciate how willing the Chili Piper team is to help with support and hear ideas for additional features. I highly recommend Chili Piper to every SDR team.
