In today’s highly competitive business market, where efficiency and convenience are key, the right scheduling software can be a game changer for your business.
This SuperSaaS review aims to provide an in-depth look into one such tool that promises to streamline your scheduling processes.
You might wonder if SuperSaas has what it takes to handle your unique business needs. Can it really enhance productivity and save you precious time?
Well, consider this review your compass, guiding you through the maze of features, benefits, and potential drawbacks of SuperSaaS.
Let’s see if this software truly delivers on its promises.
SMB Guide’s Verdict for SuperSaaS
I’m giving this one an 8 out of 10. It has a lot of good features, and I love that you can adjust the schedule to the type of event you need – so you can use it for one-on-one virtual meetings, in-person meetings, group events, and classes.
But, the user interface is clunky and not exactly intuitive. Plus, you need to use a third-party provider if you want to take advantage of SMS communication.
In this review of SuperSaaS, I’ve followed SMB Guide’s detailed criteria for evaluating the appointment scheduling software.

Powerful appointment scheduling software to automate your booking & online appointments in an affordable cost-friendly way.
Appointment Workflow Automation
Once you set up the schedule type – Resource Schedule, Capacity Schedule, or Service Schedule – you’ll go through a series of steps to customize the schedule to your needs.
You’ll choose whether or not you want to require people to log in to schedule appointments or if you only want staff members to access it.
In the next step, you choose the name for your schedule. I went with something basic like Classes.
In the final step, you choose how many times a slot can be booked at one time – so multiple students can book the class in this case.
You can choose the default time slot, whether or not to offer a waiting list, whether or not to show a calendar, and whether or not to add a price field for accepting payments.
From there, you’ll be given a calendar link to share with your clients. You’ll choose the information you want to collect from people who sign up in another dashboard area.
Customization Options
You’ll handle the customization in the “Process Options” section. Details like this make the user experience less intuitive compared to other tools.
By default, for a class schedule set up, this is what it looks like:
- User goes to [calendar URL]
- User is presented with schedule
- User enters a new reservation for a slot
- Reservation is stored in the database.
Here’s where you’ll be able to control things like the information you collect at reservation, with two additional text field areas to customize as needed.
You can also set things like:
- Whether users can make repeating reservations
- Whether to add an ID field to each reservation
- Whether to require payment or approval with a link to set up payment where you can choose between manual with bank transfers or check, automation with PayPal, Stripe, or Square, or automatic invoicing with either PayPal or Stripe.
- Adding an online meeting link to the slot – adding the link manually, create Zoom calls, or create Google Meet Calls
- Whether or not to confirm the reservation via email
- Where to send the user after creating a successful reservation
- Whether to send an email or text reminder (and a link to set up SMS reminders) or follow up for the reservation and the time period for the reminder/follow up
- Set up rules for new or changed reservation notifications
- Set up rules for how long in advance users can add or change reservations
If you want to be able to customize the look and feel of your calendar, you’ll handle this in the Layout process section.
It allows you to choose things like:
- Hours visible on the schedule
- Colors
- Fields that are shown in list views
- Available views
- Whether to allow the calendar as a widget for integration on another website
- Custom messages shown at:
- Schedule Title
- Login Screen
- Access to Schedule Blocked
- Checkout Screen
- Message to add to email confirmations of reservations
- Message to add to email reminders of reservations
- Message to add to follow up email.
Calendar Management Features
You’re free to choose how far in advance customers can book or cancel an appointment, as well as how frequently they can book.
You can allow users to make repeat reservations, or make them sign up for a series of classes at once. It includes 34 languages and 26 currencies.
You can integrate it with Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook, so you can always keep track of your appointments.
With user roles and management, you can allow others to help you manage your schedule, prevent double bookings, and keep any particular staff member from getting overbooked.
Automated Reminders and Notifications
You’ll control the content and timing of the automated reminders and notifications in your account settings.
You can send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups, as you deem necessary. It’s email only by default, but you have the option to set up SMS texting.
The SMS gateway isn’t included in the subscription. You’ll have to use a third-party service and enter those details in the dashboard to make it work.
Client Management and Communication
You have the option to allow users to register on their own, or to register them yourself. There’s only basic information available unless you take the time to add custom fields.
You can click on any user to see their upcoming class history. You’ll set email and text confirmation information and timing in your Process Details.
User Interface and User Experience
The user interface could definitely use some improvement. I found it pretty clunky. Making some simple changes to the menus’ wording would make it far more intuitive.
It did make sense to customize your process and look and feel on different parts, though.
Creating the schedule is the only thing they really walk you through step by step, but there are tutorials available – if you can spot them in your dashboard.

SuperSaaS — Unique Features
One of the unique features of this tool is that you can customize it to the event type you need. Many tools don’t allow you to handle one-on-one appointments, group meetings, and reservations within the same platform.
That flexibility is a major reason so many businesses across various industries can benefit from using SuperSaaS.
It’s also really cool that in the payment settings, you can choose to implement a credit system. You can set it up so that each user has a credit level, where positive credit is applied to the next purchase.
Or, you can set it up so that all transactions are done with credit, which the user must obtain before booking. Payment amounts are shown as credits rather than your chosen currency in your payment settings.
What the Experts Say About SuperSaaS
At the time of this review, SuperSaaS had the following ratings:
- 4.6/5 stars at G2 (80+ reviews)
- 4.6/5 stars at GetApp (260+ reviews)
- 4.6/5 stars at Capterra (260+ reviews)
We use this to facilitate over 50 group classes per week with hundreds of bookings per week. For the most part, this entire process in our business is automated, giving us clients a lot of self service control over their bookings without much labour cost for our business.
Andre Y., Founder – Verified Capterra review
For a 2-person business where we are providing the actual services as well as doing all our own admin and student scheduling, this has been a great time saver, as well as reduces mistakes (more chance of double-booking when you do it manually). We would have to grow a few employees in size before it makes sense to hire an admin person, but this booking software would help in that situation as well, and in the meantime it helps us limit our own time spent on scheduling admin.
