With over 40 metrics for subscribers, it’s also a good option for subscription-based companies. However, it starts out at an expensive price point that might not be affordable for small businesses.

It also doesn’t have a mobile app – a real bummer, especially for busy entrepreneurs who are frequently on the go.

Peel Insights offers three different plans, with the lowest starting at $499 per month. This is on the high end compared to many other solutions out there.

For this reason, I think Peel is better suited for e-commerce stores that are already at least somewhat established.

Fortunately, they do offer a 7-day free trial with no commitment or credit card information required upfront.

Ad Campaign Tracking

Connecting your ad platforms to Peel will allow you to track 20+ metrics including clicks, spend, customer acquisition cost (CAC) and more all in one central dashboard.

Unfortunately, though, the software only integrates with four different ad platforms as of now – Meta (Facebook Ads), Google Ads, TikTok, and Pinterest.

A Snapchat integration isn’t yet available but is coming soon. So, if you don’t exclusively use these specific ad platforms, you might find that Peel Insights doesn’t really work for you.

Conversion Tracking

Peel Insights’ ad conversions measure the total number of times users commit specific actions after clicking on an ad and being redirected to your website.

Peel offers more than 30 marketing metrics that are designed to help you create better, higher-converting campaigns.

You can create separate audiences based on traits like their location, top product, or the channel or campaign they were acquired from.

From there, you can create a personalized customer experience with hyper-targeted messaging in your future campaigns.

Attribution Modeling

In an August 2023 product update, Peel Insights launched a new attribution feature that allows users to easily measure any metric by marketing channel or referral domain.

With just a couple clicks, you can determine the customer lifetime value (LTV) and average order value (AOV) across 19 different marketing channels, including Instagram, paid search, organic search, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and more.

A/B Testing

A/B testing isn’t something that Peel Insights offers out of the box. If you want this functionality, you’ll need to utilize a third-party integration.

Peel Insights features a friendly user interface that’s simple to navigate and makes analyzing data easy.

They also have smart dashboards that allow you to obtain quick insights on key performance metrics.

The software is also extremely easy to set up. Once you’ve connected your Amazon or Shopify store, it’s just a matter of waiting for your data to automatically import.

This process can take up to 48 hours depending on how much data you have.

Peel Insights integrates with 15+ third-party applications like Recharge, Smartrr, Klaviyo, and more.

Peel is a web-based application, so you can use it anywhere you have a device and internet connection.

Unfortunately, though, they don’t yet have a mobile app available for iOS or Android.

This may or may not be a big deal to you depending on if you want to be able to easily use the software on your mobile device, but it’s worth noting regardless.

I will say that I ran into a couple 404 pages while trying to find certain things, so I definitely wouldn’t consider this to be an exhaustive or reliable resource.

Subscription metrics: Peel Insights offers more than 40 different subscriber and subscription metrics in order to help convert more one-time purchasers and reduce churn for subscription-based businesses.

Startup Program: Peel has a unique program for early-stage brands that may not be able to afford one of their existing subscription options.

This program is aimed primarily at Shopify businesses with under $1 million in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) in the past year.

If you’re a small business owner interested in joining, all you need to do is apply using their form.

For example, you might want to note things like when you changed up your advertising strategy or ran a promotion.
