You can also attach a custom application form and set an application confirmation email for each posting.
Job postings are Ashby integrates with these popular job boards to automatically post your jobs:
- Built In
- Google Jobs
- Linkedin Job Posting
- Welcome to the Jungle
In addition, Ashby has an internal job board accessible only by employees. For job boards not on the list, you can set up custom tracking links to identify and note the source in Ashby.
Auto-Reject allows you to set up parameters for applicants and automatically reject candidates whose answers, education, or experience do not meet conditions you define for a given job.
For example, if a job requires a candidate with experience in a specific area of expertise, you’ll only see applicants with the experience you’re looking for.
Universal Search and Candidate Database
Ashby’s reporting feature includes a candidate search option with filters you specify. It generates a list of candidates that meet your parameters, then you can take bulk action if necessary.
If your candidate report produces a good list, you can save and pin the candidate search to your home page for fast access.
You can add all kinds of tags to individual candidate records, like jobs they are under consideration for projects they are on, where they were sourced, and more, then use those tags as search parameters.
Flag the candidates you’re interested in, and use the My Candidates tab to generate a report with candidates you’re following or candidates under consideration for a role you’re hiring for.
Resume Management and Screening
Ashby’s resume management begins with parsing – applicants are accepted or rejected based on criteria you set.
Resume screening capabilities include tags, keywords, and customizable filters for highly specific searches.
Applicant Tracking and Candidate Management

Ashby has a great interface, I like the colors, the features, the fact that’s user friendly, very intuitive. Is definitely one of the most complete ATS that I’ve used.Samantha S., Recruiter – Verified Capterra review
You can easily break down complex recruitment process building in automation at every step change of a candidate journey. This initial effort to onboard a new vacancy into the system enables a smoother, faster transition for candidates through our hiring funnel.
Data visibility, I am a data nerd, most of Ashby’s competitors which I’ve used a few of give you a data bolt but it’s usually lacks depth and doesn’t allow for a customizable use case like Ashby does, we all measure and drive recruitment success differently and Ashby has built the platform with Data in mind, you can go to the smallest detail or give a comfortin overview of the funnel, NPS survey and begin predicting hiring success. Not ATS comes close!Daniel K., Global Talent Acquisition Manager – Verified G2 review

While Ashby is praised for its streamlined, user-friendly interface and comprehensive set of recruitment tools, it’s designed specifically for fast-growing companies and startups, providing advanced analytics to make data-driven hiring decisions easier.
It is a cost-effective option for many young companies. Teamtailor, on the other hand, emphasizes employer branding and candidate experience.
It offers automation tools, interview scheduling, DE&I tools, and a career management website. Teamtailor could be the better solution for companies that place a high value on employer branding and candidate experience.
Workable is a popular, large-scale ATS service. It’s a hiring and HR management platform that helps recruiters, hiring teams, and HR professionals find, recruit, hire, onboard, and manage qualified candidates.
The interface is not as simple to use compared to Ashby, but the features and integrations are similar.
While users say Ashby is a game-changer, there are few reviews compared to more established platforms and the difference in price is significant.
Workable starts at $149/month and offers a free trial period.
Greenhouse is a popular ATS with tens of thousands of users. Much like Ashby, it is designed to help HR teams and recruiters identify, source, hire, and onboard new hires.
The most common complaint among users is lack of live or customized customer service during implementation, which requires a lot of manual input.
There is video documentation, but you’re on your own while getting started. Greenhouse does not disclose its pricing, and users say that it is pricey and only billed annually.
There is no free trial period. Its best feature is integration with more than 1,000 job boards, so if you need access to niche boards, Greenhouse might be your best option.
