Zoho Invoice is a completely free invoice software. This platform gives users full access to all of its features, including invoicing, quote management, expense monitoring, and project management.
It does not require a credit card, has no advertisements, and does not offer in-app purchases. Users can easily track projects, bill clients, and generate an infinite number of invoices.
If you want access to a full accounting package, Zoho Invoice must be integrated with other Zoho apps, such as Zoho Books, which is offered on a premium plan.

Zoho asks for your timezone and the invoice date is automatically set to the current day. However, it can be changed if needed.
Users can also choose whether the invoice item price is tax-inclusive or exclusive of sales tax and sales tax rates can also be customized. The software further allows users to save taxes by name and rate.
The invoice can be altered, voided, or included in the list of recurring invoices once it has been produced. It is possible to customize the terms of payment and set up automatic reminders for clients.
Zoho Invoice also lets you email an invoice to the client’s contact email once it has been made. You can also share the invoice later by sharing the PDF or by posting a link.
Automated Invoicing
Invoice numbers are produced automatically. However, Zoho Invoice lets you reset them.
Zoho Invoice allows you to clone an existing invoice and create a new one with the same information. This is especially useful if you bill clients on a regular schedule, such as subscriptions or frequent product orders.
After cloning, Zoho Invoice automatically generates an invoice copy with the same details as the original invoice.
This platform allows users to establish recurring invoices to charge clients for the same quantity of goods or services on a regular basis. The auto scan feature enables the automatic scanning of receipts and the generation of expenses based on the scanned information.
This function allows you to quickly generate new expenses and scan all of the submitted receipts. Additionally, you can limit who can upload files into the Receipts Inbox where all receipts are kept until they are scanned.
You can avail a set amount of free scans for each organization. If you need additional scans, you can also purchase a recurring add-on.
Expense Tracking
Keeping an eye on your spending is essential for ensuring that your financial priorities are accomplished. With Zoho Invoice, you can simplify your expense tracking process and obtain insightful knowledge about your spending patterns.
Zoho Invoice offers easy invoice and expense tracking.
You can use the Expenses module in Zoho Invoice to efficiently track your spending. With Zoho Invoice, you can make a list of all the expenses you anticipate incurring and arrange them accordingly.

You can keep track of both billable and non billable expenses with Zoho Invoice. Zoho Invoice will prompt you to associate an expense with a client and project when you add a billable expense so that you can automatically create and send your client an invoice for billable expenses.
Zoho Invoice produces expense reports using your financial information that show you how much you’ve spent and can help you make wise decisions.
Multi-currency Support
The default item pricing in Zoho Books will always be stored in the base currency that you enter while registering. Since the base currency is decided by the location of your organization, you won’t be able to modify it.
You can link a foreign currency to a customer to bill them in that currency. The item price in your base currency gets converted to your customer’s currency based on the conversion rate when you raise an invoice for that specific customer.
However, this feature is only available as an upgrade.
User Interface and User Experience
Zoho Invoice is fairly intuitive and easy to navigate for even less experienced users. It features a clear and basic dashboard.
The information is presented in an easy-to-read manner on the Zoho invoicing dashboard. It displays total sales, outstanding bills, and receivables and all the features can be accessed with ease.
All reports are displayed in a list segmented into categories. The simple style of the invoices and the ability to customize the templates are useful features that can help users better target their customer communications.
The software also offers comprehensive guides and video tutorials for users to understand the features in-depth and use them in the most effective ways.

Timesheets
Zoho Invoice offers a time tracker if you manage projects for multiple clients. Users can easily keep track of their time and bill clients appropriately. With Zoho’s tracker, you can manually record the hours you spend working, or you can use its tracker.
Based on the hourly rate, each time log is added to the project and you can charge your clients for the hours you worked. When you respond to Zoho’s inquiry regarding the invoicing term, all billable hours and expenses will be automatically included in that time.
The dashboard also shows the total number of hours worked on the project and the amount of unbilled hours that remain. This enables business owners to bill clients quickly and conveniently and makes project tracking simple.
Additionally, users can link a Zoho Invoice account to a Zoho Projects account if they need more sophisticated project management services.
Reporting
Financial reports on sales, receivables, money received, purchases and expenses, projects and timesheets, and other business-related topics can all be generated using Zoho Invoice.
