Depending on the package you pay for, you can expect to receive your documents in the mail within 10 to 14 business days. Filling out the form online to start the paperwork takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
The rest of the time depends on how quickly Swyft Filings submits the paperwork to your state and how long the state takes to process everything.
Registered Agent Services and Costs
Though not included with the plans to start a business, you can purchase Registered Agent services separately. The cost for this starts at $199/year.
They will receive all legal and compliance documents on your behalf so you can prevent your name and address from becoming part of the public record.

Swyft Filings has a free business name search tool, but it’s a little hard to find on their website. You enter the business name, your email, the state you want to register it in, and the industry.
They’ll email you within one hour to let you know if the name is available and show you how to reserve it without cost or commitment.
I tested this theory using my currently registered business name in South Carolina.
After 24 hours, I still don’t have a response in my email box, so I am unsure how long this process should take.
Online Document Access
Though I did not actually form a business using this service, it’s clear they provide clients with an online portal where they can access digital versions of all the documents filed to form their company.
Once your order is processed, they create access to the portal for you and share it with you.

Swyft Filings offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. They guarantee 100% accuracy in filing your business documents. If you’re not satisfied with the service, you must inform them before your payment and state filing are processed to receive a full refund.
Once the filing has been processed with your state, you’re not eligible for a refund.
Customer Support
When I reached out to the customer support team via live chat during normal business hours, it took a while to get a response, so I got distracted by something else and closed the window before they could answer.
When I remembered and returned to the site to try again, during business hours, just an hour or so later, the live chat window went to an email form.
So, I don’t know what hours the live chat is monitored because the bot that started the chat didn’t really do anything. Customer support is also available via phone, and my experience was a pleasant one.
The hold time was reasonable, and the representative was helpful.
