You may have previously heard of Incfile – a business incorporation service. They recently rebranded and are now known as Bizee, and today, we’re going to review them.

In this Bizee review, we’ll unpack its features so you can get a better idea of how it can benefit your business.

For complete transparency, I didn’t actually form a business with Bizee. Instead, I spent a lot of time reviewing each individual feature and what customers had to say about them.

Based on all of the features I looked at, I give Bizee a 9.3 out of 10 stars overall.

Its free LLC formation is a huge plus for entrepreneurs on a budget, but the customer support isn’t the best – and despite offering a 60-day money-back guarantee for some services, some users complained that it’s difficult to actually obtain a refund.

What is Bizee?

Bizee (recently rebranded, formerly known as Incfile) is a business incorporation service that can help you with LLC filing and business formation.

You can also use it to form an S Corporation, C Corporation, or nonprofit. They’ll file all the necessary paperwork for you after you pay your state fee and Bizee package fee.

They really take the hassle out of setting up your business so you can continue to focus on what you do best.

Pricing & Plans

Using Bizee’s basic formation service is completely free, meaning you’ll only be out of pocket for state fees.

That said, if you want add-ons like business contracts, a website domain name and email address, an EIN tax number, and more, you’ll need to subscribe to one of their paid plans.

Bizee’s pricing is dependent on the type of business you want to register and what state you’re in, so it’s hard to give an exact range of potential cost.

With Bizee, you have the ability to form:

You can use Bizee for business formation in all 50 U.S. states. And doing so is completely free unless you want add-ons, so you’ll only need to pay your state filing fee.

Processing Time

Getting started with Bizee and providing all of the necessary business information should only take a few minutes.

From there, they’ll file the paperwork and forward your payment to the state.

Bizee aims to process orders on their end within 1 business day – much faster than some of the other formation services out there.

However, that doesn’t mean that your business will be automatically formed as soon as Bizee processes it. The time frame for the creation of your business largely depends on your specific state.

But it’s good to know that Bizee will likely have the information sent over within 24 hours or so.

Registered Agent Services and Costs

Bizee offers a free registered agent service for 1 year when you form a business using them – even on the free plan.

After that, you’ll need to pay $119/year if you want to continue to use the service.

Using a registered agent service can help you stay on top of annual reports and other deadlines to keep your business in good standing with the state.

This can prevent you from facing any fines or penalties for non-compliance. It’s a service more than worth paying for, in my opinion.

Name Availability Search

Bizee has a free name availability search tool that you can use regardless of whether you’ve paid for a package or started the formation process yet.

You can use it to look up as many different names as you want – there are no search limits.

It’s pretty simple to use. Once you input your information and desired business name and structure, you’ll receive an email letting you know whether that name is available.

The email usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes to arrive in your inbox. After performing a search, I received my email within 3 minutes or so.

Online Document Access

When you select your package, you’ll gain access to the Bizee Business Dashboard. In the dashboard, you’ll be able to see all of your filed documents saved in one place.

If you chose the subscription option that includes business contract templates, this is where you’ll be able to find them.

Aside from documents, you’ll also find here:

Money-Back Guarantees

Once you’ve placed your Bizee order, you can expect your paperwork to be filed within 24 hours or so. Because of this, you have a pretty small window of time to decide if you want a refund.

Bizee states that, “Your order is refundable until your payment is forwarded to the state, less a $30.00 cancellation fee and any expenses that have been paid or incurred in furtherance of your order with any entities (including state agencies or third-party vendors.”

For additional services, Bizee offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. To request a cancellation or plan change you’ll need to reach out to [email protected].

Customer Support

If you have questions or need any type of assistance, Bizee offers phone support Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm CST.

You can also submit a ticket through their client support request form, though it’s not stated how long it’ll take to receive a response.

I think it’s important to note here that according to some customer reviews, Bizee’s customer support leaves a lot to be desired – particularly when trying to obtain a refund.

• Contract templates: On the Platinum plan, you’ll get access to legal templates such as operating agreements, non-compete agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and more.
• Foreign qualification: With a foreign qualification, you can do business outside of the state your company was originally formed in. You can file one of these for free + state filing fee with Bizee.
• Business license or permit: Bizee will research your business license needs to determine what licenses and permits you need to operate. This service starts at $99.
• Trademark registration: Along with business formation, you can use Bizee to register your company trademark for $299 + filing fees.
• Accounting and bookkeeping: Bizee offers a separate accounting and bookkeeping solution that’s compliant with tax laws and takes the hassle out of your financial planning. Plans range from $90 – $180 per month.

The majority of Bizee’s ratings are on Trustpilot. It’s rated 4.7 stars there with over 16,000 user reviews.

The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with 86% being 5-star reviews. That’s pretty good if you ask me.
